Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the ENCORE Scholarship!

 

As part of Encore’s mission statement to encourage and support choral music in our community, a scholarship fund was established to provide financial aid/support for Midland, Texas graduates pursuing music as a degree.

 

Each year 4 total scholarships are available. 

Two for current graduating seniors and two for current University music majors.

 

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Graduating High School Seniors in Midland, Texas

● Must be currently enrolled in a Midland high school (public or private)  

● Must be currently participating in Band, Choir, or Orchestra​

● Must be pursuing a music major at an accredited 4 year university

● Must complete the application in its entirety

● Must provide a current high school transcript

● Amount - $2500

● Disbursement is one lump sum ~ Fall Semester of Freshman year 

 

Current University Music Majors  

● Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4 year university as a music major

● Must have graduated from a Midland high school (public or private)

● Must complete the application in its entirety

● Must provide a current college transcript 

● Amount - $3500  

● Disbursement is one lump sum ~ Fall Semester of upcoming academic year
 

***Recipients are eligible to reapply every year***
